Food: Central Park Zoo's Leaping Frog Café offers a kid-friendly, educational environment and an extended menu that includes kids’ favorites such as peanut butter & jelly on chocolate bread, hamburgers, all-beef kosher hot dogs, quesadillas and chicken tenders. Gift Shop: Visit ZOOTIQUE at Central Park to shop for unique, wild, and wonderful items, from plush animals and children's books to toys, games, and other spectacular souvenirs.
Accessibility: The zoo is handicapped accessible. Guests who rely on service animals may bring them into the Zoo, provided that the animals remain properly leashed. Guests are solely responsible for the care and control of their animals.
Visitor Rules: NO pets, bikes, roller-blades, or skateboards.

School Group Admissions: There is no group rate for schools or other groups. The admission rate is $3 for children (ages 3–12), $8 for adults (ages 13 and up), and $4 for senior citizens. Cash or school check accepted at the gate. We ask for a ratio of 1 adult to 10 children. Your school or group does not need to make a reservation to visit the Central Park Zoo. A member of the admissions staff will take care of your group once you arrive at the gate. School Group Programs: A variety of educational programs are offered for school groups. Food: Vending Machines are available in the Refreshments Building near the Sea Lion Pool. Also note that there are plenty of outdoor picnic tables where you can bring your own food to the zoo and eat.
Parking: Free parking is available on Flatbush Ave.
Gift Shop: Souvenirs are available, seasonally.

Birthday Parties: Have a wild birthday party at the Prospect Park Zoo! Kids ages 3-10 can get up close and personal with some of our resident animals, create a craft to take home (or prepare a special snack for one of the animals), and explore an exhibit in the zoo.
